Who is the Mini Family Food Walk for?
Families with toddlers and young kids, or anyone who prefers a shorter, gentler tour. It’s private, lasts about two hours, and is paced around your children.
What time does the tour start?
We recommend early evening, after nap time and before bedtime. If another time suits your family better, just let us know.
How much food will we eat?
Around 5 dishes, a light dinner for little ones. If your family has bigger appetites, our 3 to 4 hour Family Walking Food Tour includes 7 to 8 dishes.
How much walking is involved?
Very little. Stops are close together, with a seat at each one, and we take a taxi whenever it helps.
Is the food safe for toddlers?
Yes. On this tour we choose soft, mild dishes like rice porridge, chicken rice and fish cake noodle soup. We cut everything into small pieces and skip anything on skewers or with bones.
Is the food too spicy for children?
No. Most Da Nang dishes are not spicy, and chili is served on the side. We always ask for mild portions for the kids.
Can we bring a stroller?
Yes. Tell us when you book and we’ll choose a route and taxis that suit a stroller.
Can you prepare food for a baby under 3?
Yes. Let us know your baby’s age and what they usually eat, and we’ll arrange soft, gentle dishes for them.
Can you handle vegetarian diets and allergies?
Yes. Vegetarian menus and all allergies can be arranged. Tell us in your booking message and we’ll plan every stop around it.
What happens if it rains?
The tour runs rain or shine. We provide rain ponchos, and your guide will adjust the route to keep everyone comfortable.
Does customizing the tour cost extra?
No. Changing dishes, route or pace is included. Only premium dishes on request cost extra, and we’ll quote them before the tour.
Ready for a little food adventure?
Send us your dates and your kids’ ages. We’ll reply with a plan built for your family.
